Nichole Coleman, U.S Air Force veteran, is a County Veterans Service Officer and the Executive Director of the Hancock County Veterans Service Office. Since she assumed this position in 2011, the office has more than quadroupled the number of veterans served locally, and the amount of VA expenditures for county veterans has increased by $10.1 million with 1,100 fewer veteran residents. In 2021, Nichole was elected as the President of the National Association of County Veteran Service Officers.
