Isabella is the daughter of retired Senior Chief Petty Officer Ward Taft who served as a Navy Corpsman for 20 years. In 2021 Isabella graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Nursing. Isabella recently relocated to Orlando, Florida where she is an ICU nurse. Growing up with a father who has a brain injury was not easy, but it made me who I am today and has helped me succeed in my career. I am eager to share my experiences and point of view from being a child caregiver.
