Matthew Amidon is the Director of the Military Service Initiative at the George W. Bush Institute. He leads the day-to-day efforts of the Military Service Initiative engaged in policy and program work in order to foster successful transitions from military to civilian life for our post-9/11 veterans and their families. Alongside key stakeholders the focus is on finding meaningful employment and the educational pathways that enable the next career, and optimizing overall health and well-being.
