History & Mission
DAV (Disabled American Veterans) helps veterans, their families and survivors obtain VA benefits and services. It connects veterans with employers through career fairs and other initiatives. DAV also operates a nationwide volunteer program that provides hundreds of thousands of no-cost rides to veterans receiving care at VA facilities. The million-member organization was founded in 1920. All its services are offered at no cost to veterans of all generations.
America’s Warrior Partnership is committed to empowering communities to empower veterans. We fill the gaps between veteran service organizations by helping nonprofits connect with veterans, their families, and caregivers. Our programs bolster nonprofit efficacy, improving their results, and empowering their initiatives.
