Before accepting his new role as CEO at the Gary Sinise Foundation, Dr. Mike Thirtle served as President & CEO of Bethesda Lutheran Communities. Previously, Mike worked for the RAND Corporation in various leadership roles, including Director of the RAND office at Air Combat Command at Langley AF Base, VA. He holds several advanced degrees, including a doctoral degree in policy analysis. Thirtle is a retired member of the U.S. Air Force, where he served as an active-duty and reserve officer.
