Karl Hamner, PhD, is the Director of the Office of Evaluation for the University of Alabama (UA) College of Education. Hamner has been a social science and health researcher, program development and evaluation consultant, and training specialist for federal, state, county, and community-based agencies. His two primary areas of focus are improving military to civilian transitions and improving k-12 schools through developing evidence-based practices.
