Melissa Brown, DrPH, is a Behavioral Scientist on the suicide prevention team at CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, Division of Injury Prevention (NCIPC) and alumni of the College of Public Health at the University of Kentucky (UK). Dr. Brown’s work includes research and evaluation projects related to: suicide prevention, social isolation and loneliness, military/veterans and family, veteran service organizations, suicide exposure and bereavement.
